RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

May 2019 - July 2019

CERN, Espl. des Particules 1, 1211 Meyrin, Switzerland.

  • Studied and analyzed the characteristics of the transients occurred in the GEM low voltage system at P5 in CMS cite and possible solutions were found. 

  • Assembled CMS triple-GEM detectors and performed gain uniformity test on the detector chambers as a part of Muon endcap upgradation projet.

  • Received Institute Scholarship (NIT Durgapur) for undertaking internship at CERN, March'19.

  • Received 'Award of Excellence' from Nadia district administration, Govt. of West Bengal for securing 15th position in Secondary Examination in the state, July'14.

  • Mentored students for their summer research internships at CMS, CERN. The research was based on installation of GEM detectors as a part of phase-II Muon Endcap upgradation, June'19-July'19.
